Privacy Policy (California)

1. Introduction

CSI Wealth Management ("CSI," "we," "our," or "us") and Signature Solutions Financial and Insurance Services ("Signature Solutions") value and protect your privacy.

 

This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information under California law. That includes your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

 

2. Who we are

CSI Wealth Management is a State of California Registered Investment Adviser, CRD# 328963.

 

Signature Solutions Financial and Insurance Services offers insurance products and services through individually licensed agents, under CA Life License #0665327.

 

CSI Wealth Management and Signature Solutions Financial and Insurance Services are separate entities. Both are owned by Rick Miller. CSI Wealth Management does not offer or sell insurance products; Signature Solutions offers insurance products in the state of California.

 

3. What information we collect

What we collect depends on your relationship with us. These are the categories, with examples and the reason we collect each one.

 

Identifiers. Your name, address, email address, phone number, date of birth, Social Security number, and driver's license. We use these to confirm who you are and to maintain our client records.

 

Financial information. Your assets, income, account numbers, and investment history. We use these to provide advisory or insurance services.

 

Internet and technical data. Your IP address, browser, device identifier, and how you use this website. We use these to keep the website working and to understand how visitors use it.

 

Professional or employment information. Your occupation, employer, and job title. We use these for financial planning, and to judge whether an insurance product suits your situation.

 

Protected classification information. Your age or marital status, when you give it to us voluntarily. We use these to meet suitability and underwriting standards.

 

We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.

 

4. How we use your information

We use your information to:

 

  • Deliver financial, investment, or insurance services

  • Maintain your account and process transactions

  • Send you important information about your account, and regulatory notices

  • Improve our website and the experience of using it

  • Meet our legal, compliance, and audit obligations

 

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it in exchange for money.

 

We disclose information only as the law permits, and only to:

 

  • Custodians, insurers, and investment sponsors

  • Vendors that provide data processing, information technology, or compliance support

  • Regulatory authorities, such as the SEC, FINRA, or the California Department of Insurance, when they require it

 

Each of these third parties is contractually required to protect your information and to use it only for permitted business purposes.

 

6. Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to:

 

  • Know what personal information we collect, and how we use and share it.

  • Access your information and receive a copy of it.

  • Delete your personal information, unless a law requires us to keep it.

  • Correct personal information that is wrong.

  • Limit how we use sensitive information, such as your Social Security number or your financial details.

  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for marketing purposes.

  • Not be treated differently because you exercised any of these rights.

Please include your name, your contact information, and a description of what you would like us to do. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on your request.

 

If someone submits a request on your behalf, we will ask for written authorization or a power of attorney.

 

8. "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information"

We do not sell personal information. California law still requires us to give you a way to opt out, so here it is.

 

You may opt out of the sharing of your information for cross-context behavioral advertising by contacting us using the email address, phone number, or mailing address in section 7.

 

9. How long we keep information, and how we protect it

We keep your personal information for as long as we need it to meet our business, legal, and regulatory obligations.

 

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

 

10. Cookies and tracking

This website is built and hosted on the Wix platform. Wix sets cookies that the site needs in order to work, and cookies that support its built-in visitor statistics, such as a count of how many people visited a page. Wix also loads an error-monitoring service (Sentry), which reports technical faults so that the site can be kept working. We do not use Google Analytics on this site, and we do not add advertising or social-media tracking pixels (such as the Meta Pixel) to it. Embedded videos are described below.

 

Some pages include videos hosted on YouTube. When the video player loads, YouTube (owned by Google) may receive information about your visit, such as your IP address and the page address, and may set its own cookies, even if you do not play the video. That is governed by YouTube's privacy policy, not ours.

 

Our home page also shows short videos from our Instagram account through a widget provided by Behold (behold.so). When that part of the page loads, your browser contacts Behold's servers for the widget and preview images, so Behold receives basic technical information such as your IP address. Behold says its widget sets no cookies and keeps only an anonymous count of how often the feed is viewed. The video files come from Instagram's servers (Instagram is owned by Meta) and load only when you press play, so Instagram may then receive the same kind of information. If you click or tap through to Instagram, Instagram's privacy policy applies, not ours.

 

You can change your browser settings to limit or disable cookies. We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals at this time.

 

11. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
